After breakfast, depart for Jamnagar, driving approximately 280 km (around 7 hours) through rural landscapes of Saurashtra. On arrival, visit the scenic Lakhota Lake and the historic Lakhota Palace Museum located in the center of the lake. After breakfast, travel approximately 150 km (about 3 hours) to the sacred coastal city of Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage destinations in India.Visit the revered Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Later explore Gomti Ghat and nearby temples. Attend the evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple for a spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
After breakfast, drive 105 km (2 hours) to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple.Continue the journey for 135 km (about 3 hours) to Somnath. Visit the famous Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva located along the Arabian Sea. In the evening, enjoy the sound and light show narrating the temple’s history. After breakfast, drive 90 km (approximately 2 hours) to the scenic island town of Diu.Explore the historic Diu Fort, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Visit St. Paul’s Church and relax at Nagoa Beach. Enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere and Portuguese-influenced architecture. Overnight stay in Diu.
After breakfast, drive 100 km (about 2 hours) to Sasan Gir, the gateway to Gir National Park.Check into your wildlife resort and relax. Evening free to enjoy the natural surroundings of Gir forest. Overnight stay near Gir National Park.
Early morning enjoy an exciting jeep safari in Gir National Park, the only natural habitat of the Asiatic lion in the world. Apart from lions, the park is home to leopards, hyenas, deer, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.Return to the resort for breakfast and leisure time. After breakfast, drive 65 km (about 1.5 hours) to Junagadh. Visit historic attractions including Uparkot Fort and Mahabat Maqbara. Continue 55 km (around 1 hour) to Virpur to visit the sacred Jalaram Bapa Temple.Proceed 30 km (about 45 minutes) to Gondal and explore the grand Orchard Palace and Vintage Car Museum.Later drive 40 km (1 hour) to Rajkot for overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive 175 km (about 4 hours) to Palitana, one of the most sacred Jain pilgrimage sites in India.Climb Shatrunjaya Hill to visit the magnificent Shatrunjaya Hill Temples, a complex of more than 800 marble temples dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras.Later drive 50 km (about 1 hour) to Bhavnagar for overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive 50 km (about 1 hour) to Velavadar Blackbuck National Park, famous for its grassland ecosystem and large population of blackbucks and migratory birds.Continue 95 km (around 2 hours) to Lothal, an important archaeological site of the Indus Valley Civilization known for its ancient dockyard and museum.Later drive 65 km (about 1 hour) back to Ahmedabad for your onward journey, marking the end of an unforgettable Gujarat tour.
